he came to earth
tried to fly.

from the age of five.
success caused him
to use a disguise.

hid his fears
deep within.

showed the world
filled with sin
how to be innocent
and guileless and pure within.

the child within
was so strong
it carried him
through all the storms

he faced many of those
in his life
personal demons
he had to constantly fight.

loved innocent souls
carefree and sweet
gave them happiness
in them, his joy was complete.

misjudged, laughed at
every fault magnified
this man, in death
they now glorify.
